Paweł Milewski

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland

Born in 1975, Pawel Milewski received his M.A. in Chinese Studies from Adam Mickiewicz University in 1999, studied at Capital Normal University (China) in 1996, followed by Xiamen University (China) in 1997. From 2003 to 2009, he worked at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the People’s Republic of China as Second Secretary, First Secretary and Counsellor. In 2013, he was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Australia. During this period, he also served as Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Papua New Guinea. In 2017, he was appointed Director General of the Bureau for Asia and the Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
He arrived in Japan in October 2019 as Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Japan. Languages spoken: Polish, English, Chinese
