Profile

Born in September 1967. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Hitotsubashi University and received an MA in international political economics from Aoyama Gakuin University. Worked at a financial research institute for three-and-a-half years before becoming a director of the Ohara Museum of Art in 2000 and a managing director in 2011. Was named the museum’s fifth president in July 2016. Is concurrently president of the Wakatake no Sono nursery school, director of the Okayama Association of Corporate Executives, outside director of Hagiwara Industries, supervisor of Okayama University, member of the Kurashiki Board of Education, and vice-president of the Kurashiki Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
