Profile
Director of the United Nations University Hub on Artificial Intelligence for Climate, Governance and Culture. Representative to the United Nations, Senior Director & Head of International Strategy at the International Council on Environmental Economics and Development (ICEED). He is a member of the OECD AI Expert Community and the NATO Scientific Board on Artificial Intelligence and concurrently serves as Senior Fellow at the NATO Defense College Foundation, Co-Director for UK–EU Energy Security at Chatham House (Royal Institute of International Affairs), Advisor on Climate Crisis Strategy at the Yale School of the Environment and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
Meyer has built his career across the private sector, international organizations, and global policy environments. At Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, he worked on United Nations-related projects and held business leadership responsibilities. He subsequently served in senior leadership roles at Dentsu, including as Senior Strategy Director, with responsibilities spanning global strategy and cross-border business. He currently leads interdisciplinary research, education, international collaboration, and the design and real-world implementation of international policy at the United Nations University Hub on Artificial Intelligence for Climate, Governance and Culture.
He has been actively involved in various international frameworks, including the United Nations (UNEP, UNFCCC), OECD, the Council of Europe (AI Committee), NATO, and UNECE (automated driving-related forums), contributing to both policy development and real-world implementation.
He is currently leading a long-term international policy initiative integrating AI, energy, and economic security, working across international organizations, governments, and the private sector to build next-generation policy and talent infrastructures.
