I-House is certified as a public interest incorporated foundation and as an organization eligible for tax deductions. Donations to I-House are tax-deductible and eligible for preferential tax treatment in Japan. Additionally, a variety of giving options are available, including through Minato Ward’s hometown tax (furusato nozei) program, legacy gifts and gifts of inherited assets, non-cash assets like stocks, land, and buildings, and donations through the American Friends of I-House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States.
